	Sam Champion November 10, 2005 Share Photo Gallery Official Band Website

Named after a NYC TV weatherman, Brooklyn's Sam Champion played their second Lounge Act of 2005 during the evening in front of a small crowd of WOXY.com contest winners. The band's Pavement inspired-indie rock, with just the slightest alt-country tinge, won over all who were in attendance.

The evening session allowed them to expand their set beyond the normal format, digging deeper into the station's #84 disc of 2005, their debut Slow Rewind, and so far, reigns as our longest Lounge Act to date!
