	Cursive April 9, 2008 Share Photo Gallery Official Band Website

As a longtime staple of the Saddle Creek roster, Omaha may always be where Cursive's heart is. In the past few years, the band members have actually scattered across the country. Lead singer Tim Kasher (who also plays in The Good Life) has been trying his luck in Los Angeles and is writing screenplays when he's not making music.

It's been two years since Cursive unleashed "Happy Hollow" and now they are in the process of recording again. In this session, they play two tracks that will likely end up on the next album, although they tell Mike that they've written about 25 songs and only 8 or 9 are in serious consideration thus far.

We were very fortunate to host the band in the Lounge while they were on a brief Midwestern tour to roadtest some of this new material.
