Sometimes Lounge Acts require a lot of scheduling and others come together in a matter of days. Within about 48 hours of getting an advance copy of the band's debut EP from Kanine, we started getting this session set up.

This New York City band started out as a punk trio and has since evolved into a dance funk quartet whose music blends the soulful sounds of Liquid Liquid with the energy of !!!. When a band rolls in with mostly percussion instruments, keyboards, and their own whistle, you know it's a gonna be a dance party.

Their debut EP "Professor Murder Rides The Subway" is available from July 25th at indie record stores nationwide.
