Alexi is a singer/songwriter who truly personifies the DIY ethos. After selling over 40,000 copies of his "Four Songs" EP out of his L.A. apartment and appearing on soundtracks for "Garden State" and "The O.C.", most of the biggest labels in the industry were knocking on his door.

This UK native just wasn't interested in playing by anybody else's rules, so he crafted his debut full-length over the course of 2 years. He eventually decided on launching the disc on his own Zero Summer label, with distribution help from Razor & Tie. The end result is a gorgeous album that recalls the intimate songwriting of the late Nick Drake.

While on a tour of indie record stores across the country, Alexi stopped in and played a few tracks live in the Lounge. Three are from his debut disc "Time Without Consequence" and the last track in the set is so new that it doesn't yet have a title.
