What the hell did I miss.

This time last year you couldn't give these things away. Unless of course you were an old school trucker. Now they're selling like crazy on E-bay. I know I've got a Teamster mesh hat at mom's house. I'll have to find that bastard. Some of these things are going for 30 - 40 dollars!!! INSANE (Spoken Like Buddy)

Once Justin Timberlake started wearing one, they become all chic and shit...my fiance's got a couple, maybe we should put them up on e-bay (the frieghtliner and caterpillar hats stay though)

I have three of those old Pittsburgh Pirates caps.

You'd think with all the retro-sports and retro-cap nostalgio they'd make a comeback, but noooOOOoo! Even the ugly 80's Astros uniforms are hot but no Pirates caps.

One of these Halloweens I'm going dress as Kent Tekulve. I've already got the uni, goofy glasses and cap.

When a friend went out to L.A. LAST SUMMER, he came back telling us that they were all the rage then. He also mentioned that they were going for $40 a hat. No one wanted to believe him...until it finally filtered to the ATL.

I blame Pharrell as well as Justin. Oh, and Ashton Kutcher.

i feel your pain. while out of town last month, i made the mistake of passing up on an "Official U.S. Beaver Inspector" cap. what a wasted opportunity.

I've never worn flippy flops either...not even to the pool. I saw a pair of these damned things once for $25!!!!!
I believe I can find other things to spend $25 on than a pair of plastic shoes...

*must say I did harken to the shoulder pads; they made one's waist look smaller and gave one an aura of authority...however they were too big*


that being said, I think you will start to see trends from the 50's........for various ugly reasons.

Maybe some of those funky hair styles too??? There's this wacky old lady who works with me and she has is SO trendy with her white bee-hive 'do going on... she really freaks me out, really.
