Very cool lineup!

How happy is Mike that to have PETE & THE PIRATES?

For the record, the Brazos is a river in Texas. It happens to have alligators in it. Mike is correct that there is a street named Brazos in Austin. All the north/south streets in the downtown area are named after Texas rivers, in order, from Red River to Rio Grande.

Exciting, I know.

True, plus back in the day all the now numbered streets (east west bound) used to be named after trees, untill 1880's.. 6th st. was then Pecan st.. 19th st. used to be Magnolia st. and now it's MLK jr. blvd today...

You're supposed to put "Special Guest" in the blank spots of the schedule!

Kidding aside, another brilliant lineup guys!

Every city in Texas has a street called Brazos, probably because it was the center of Stephen F. Austin's land grant. Which would include most of modern-day Houston and none of Austin! All of the names associated with Texas history have streets named after them in Texas cities. Such as Houston, Austin, Brazos, Travis, Preston, Milam, San Jacinto, etc.

Most of Southeast Texas waterways have been reclaimed by the Alligator, which is cool. But don't let your dog get out.

Thumbs up WOXY.COM: SXSW 2009 Live Broadcast & Sessions

I hope that all of the sessions will be subsequently posted as MP3s so that we can catch any that we happen to miss. Great lineup again this year!
