I want to see a statue of Steve Baker erected out on 27 in front of the 97X studios. All the years the Bakerman has put in at WOXY
should warrant such an honor. His service to the station, Miami Sports, and the fact that he drank with Dave Spahn and survived should count for something! He has done mornings, (who can forget the J.J. and Bake morning show) voiced countless spots,
slept on the floor in front of his beloved Bertha, put his nose to the grindstone!! He has survived the regimes of several wacked out P.D.'s...( phil, kerry, crash, jetson,) psychotic air talent (robin
plan...'nuff said) his duties and dedication have gone beyond the norm. Give the Bakerman his due...(maybe just a likeness of the
pop n fresh doughboy would suffice) the time has come!!!

Seriously though...I agree. If you asked me to name a DJ at 97X, the word, "Bakerman", will most likely pop out. If I can remember him, he must be good at something.
