...but I need to find a good "file sharing" program. I had Kazaa..but it would freeze and screw things up a lot. I downloaded Kazaa lite, because of the non-spyware and all...but I'm still having problems with it...
does anyone have any programs they would suggest?

Kazza Light doesn't use the "hotlist" Function with of course makes it a little harder for the RiAA to track you down but I wouldn't get to comfy because they somehow get the IP address too and Kazza doesn't work like that but at any rate it should be a little "safer." Personally I'm not a damned bit worried about it. I've been using "Overnet" for a while now it's really good.

I prefer Kazaa Lite. No spyware and no pop-ups.
Currently 3,997,477 users sharing 768,895,573 files.

If you have a PC, WINMX works really well. I had problems with Kazaa too, but I haven't had any problems with this.

I love WinMX and have been using it for about two years now (or whenever audiogalaxy crashed and burned) without any problems.

I tried using WinMX and the interface kinda irked me. I didn't like that my songs came up just as file extentions, instead of the name of the song and artist and stuff...I dont know, I guess I'm picky. it wasn't aestetically pleasing, yet seemed to work fine. I like the way Kazaa looks..but it kills my computer.
sucks for me. *shrug*
