Any possibility WOXY could add Lazlo Bane's album "All the time in the world" to playlist? a number of folks probably haven't heard of them - except for the song "Superman" which is the theme of "Scrubs" but they could really fit in well with the other bands played on WOXY

yeah, it's been commercially released (http://www.rollingstone.com/reviews/cd/review.asp?aid=2045531&cf=2045530)
their website (www.lazlobane.com) has some tracks on it, and http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/lazlobane has some song clips on it, too.
but they seem to have had some bad experience with labels when they produced their first album (11 Transistor) and they self-produced this album and seem to be doing the same in terms of promoting and distributing it. I'm not too sure. I just got wind of them via "Scrubs" and subsequent searches for their music, and thought they'd make a good fit on the air here.

I just listened to their tune "All the time in the world", it's power pop ala Fountains of Wayne. I certainly wouldn't mind hearing it on 97x now and then.
Timbuktu, if you know this band - tell 'em to mail 97x a CD or two.
This is the radio station that cares about new music.
