Hey guys...for the past year or so, I've been unable to get to woxy.com because my work filters it out. Anyways, I'd really like to listen today because of the guest dj at 1:00. So I was wondering if one of you bored souls could post links the the mp3 streams in this thread and help a brutha out!

Dangit, all of those have the ole woxy.com tacked onto them. Anyone know of any backdoors?

How did they come to block www.woxy.com anyway? Is there some master list of streaming websites they are using or was it a specific response to something?

I don't know exactly what they're using, but I think it's a filter of some sort. It probably looks at the meta tag of a web page and if it includes the words, "music", "games", "sex", etc. then I get a corp. policy page instead of the site. They cobble out internet use so much, I can't even get to some Microsoft pages or other sites I need to find drivers, etc. They'll probably lock me out of here soon enough.

That's the club I'm in. Haven't been able to log in from work for about a month now. It's a real bitch.

RVA, I'd have the same question as you... why www.woxy.com? But since they've managed to block apple's website (that was a nice surprise for my boss who needed quicktime for a marketing application we're working on), various bands, etc. But not sites like fark.com, homestar runner, etc. It just doesn't make any sense, I've given up trying to figure it out.

It's a lot like the spam filters they implemented that blocks e-mails from my friends and family yet over looks the penis enlargement e-mails.
