Watched this Sunday night.. Thought it was hillarious.. If only COPS were this funny!!! Any other thoughts??

I saw it, quite a few times, since they played reruns for it non-stop the following days, and every house I was at on my crack induced true to life Santa Clause impersonation had it on. (Yes, I was at your house, too. WOO HOO HOO HA HA HA!!!! No, wait, that's: Woo-Hoo-Hoo..... HAHAHA!!!!) The first time, I thought it was kinda stupid, but the second time it seemed a little funnier. Not real funny. Just funny. Now that I think about it, it is pretty dang funny. The kinda humor you have to marry to understand. Well, not really. No, that's not true at all.

I watched it while waiting for South Park thinking it would be lame, but I laughed my ass off. I haven't laughed at anything new on TV for a damn long time. Good show.

And Cops IS funny . . . just unintentionally.

Being a fan anything remotely linked to The State and its members, I thought I'd be engulfed in this, but I just can't get into it. I want to, and it's not that's its not funny, just that this type of comedy has been done plenty o' times before, and its just not what they're good at; But I will keep watching when I catch it, because it's funnier than most stuff on TV.

On the contrary I happen to find cops quite hilarious...Even more so then Reno 911. :rolleyes:

This show does zero for me. I watched a few episodes and while some of the gags are funny, the inept cop routine was done just as well on shows like Dukes of Hazzard and Sheriff Lobo.

I've stayed with this show and have been mildy amused since the beginning but last week Deputy Junior had two lines that made me laugh out loud.


"They made a black Honeymooners. It didn't make no money."

"Aw. We're gonna end up on Youtube again"

Big fan since the inception, but didn't like the movie. Still watch it as religiously as one can who doesn't have cable; which means I own the DVDs.
