Does anyone know any good sites where they'll send you ringtones so you don't have to d/l them. I know there are sites that you can just put in your number and your type of phone and they'll hook you up, but I can't find any for the phone (which is a kyocera) that I'm trying to change the ring to.
I just realized how corny this is, but I will add that this quest is not for me. I could care less how a phone rings, but some people...
Anyway, any help would be killer.

I can't find any free ringtones anymore. But a good site is mobilecraze.com. I currently have maneater by hall and oates. Fun times when all your friends walk around humming your cell phone ring. Anyway, it's 1.99 a song.

I have the same kind of phone & when I have searched for sites that have them they are always based in the UK & charge a fee.
But things are looing up:

By working with Loudeye, wireless carriers and entertainment companies can offer their mobile users the ability to purchase licensed rich media ringtones of music tracks, preview digital music samples and view information related to the music. Loudeye's rich media ringtones provide wireless consumers with a 3-30 second clip of the actual song recording compared to traditional mono or polyphonic ringtone offerings. They're working with The Orchard who offer a lot of the cool WOXY-type artists!

I finally decided to spring forth into the 1990's and get a cell phone recently. I haven't found any free ringtones, and two bucks does seem to be the norm. Does that seem steep to any of you? I mean, that Apple service lets you download a whole fargin' song for 99 cents, and these jokers want to charge twice that for a tiny snippet that only sounds vaguely like the real song when played through your phone's ringer?

Anyway, I wish I could find working ringtones for my Audiovox phone from someone other that Virgin Wireless. Currently I've got Soul Bossanova playing on mine, but I want Move Your Feet, and I can't find it for my phone...... :(

I just wanted a regular ring. No songs, no jingles, just a regular ring. But its 1.50 or something, for just a normal ring!
Oh, but I have a chicken clucking on my phone. Thats professional.

I have a Virgin Mobile and there are hundreds of downloadable ringtones for it. They cost a buck each, which I think it very reasonable.
My phone rings to the tune of Iron Butterfly's "In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida". CR has a Siemens phone which rings to the tune of The Simpsons Theme.
Rock!

we laughed at the clucking chicken for a week straight. but after a while, it gets old.
It came free on my samsung sprint phone. It also came free on my friend's phone (a sayno maybe?)
If you can figure out a way to send ringtones, I'd be happy to send it your way.
