a couple weeks ago we had a on going theme of universal studios interns posting spam or people claimig themselves as that. so ive been meaning to post this idea for a while. When we get spam, we hardly ever get repeat offenders. Or in other words people who post here more then 5 times.
Would it be possible to set up a system where a new member has to reply to "x" amount (say 10) threads before starting their own thread?

So then said newcomer could spam a perfectly decent thread with 'replies of spam' first and THEN create their own spam threads?
I think I'd rather take my chances on the Bon Jovi giveaway and IWI Wrestling posts.

...like most anyone that crashes a party, just ignore them & go about your business. Now, if they start hoarding food & drinking too much of the free beer, then we'll use the 97X whupping stick on 'em. ;)

The fine print:
The 97X Whupping Stick is in the sole custody of Matt Sledge and may not be used until such time that it can be pried from his cold, dead hands. Oh...and he doesn't plan on going anywhere for a long, long time.

Some of the best flame bait around comes from spammers. I say let them be so I can have my petty amusements.

What a ridiculous notion. That wouldn't happen, (http://msg.woxy.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=118643#post118643) would it?
