Why has there not been any discussion regarding Soul Asylum at Jillian's tonight? I am going. Anyone else?

I haven't mentioned it because it's fifteen frickin' dollars which is entirely too much to pay for SA.
There was a thread about the June Bug music fest a ways back, but I think it died due to the fact that nobody cared.

I was there along with Bronzetree up in the very front row singing our butts off. S.A. has been my favorite band for years. They kick ass every time they play live. I would've paid double the money. Can't wait for their new album to come out.

Yep, it was a damned fine show. 15 bucks is steep, but when it's one of your favorite bands, it's hard to pass up.

Did anyone happen to catch Gin Blossoms the next night? I wanted to go but did not make it. Also how was Soul Asylum's opening band? The two guys Tim and Aaron? Curious.

Caught GB the next night and they were okay. Didn't have quite the fire and balls that SA had the night before. The Time, however, made a believer outta me.
SA's opener was a local group, the Ben Walz Band. Good stuff, just not my cup of tea. Fell in line pretty good with the John Mayer, Jack Johnson type of stuff you've been hearing on the radio lately.
