They are big to their fans, and there are more of them than people think.

$18 is a lot, but the Vogue is such a nice venue. Like a billion times better than Bogarts.

For Broad Ripple, I think I prefer the Patio to the Vogue. Sure, it's a lot smaller, but they have cheap cans of Black Label beer, and it's a shorter stagger to both the Jimmy John's and the LaBamba's after a show.

I was thinking outside "my bubble". It would seem more sensible to have lower ticket prices if there is more of a following than people think. In other words, if it is more for the hardcore fans, $18 seems a little high for me. I was comparing the price to some of the other bands I simply adore. Even though I would pay the $18 to see those great bands, it still would seem high to me.

If the venue up there in Indy is a stellar venue though, I could understand that--especially if you only have to drive 2 hours maximum to get better sound than Bogarts.
