Did anyone watch this Fox show the other night?

I dug it. It was funny, had some artsy camera work and noir-ish flashes. I thought it was a little too hokey that he was offered a job and stayed in London at the end, but then, that's the hook of the story. I'll give this one a shot until it's time for 24 Season 3.

Missed it...Hopefully they'll air a repeat soon.

The lead guy used to be one of the Jacks on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. I want to see him at least once for the sake of nostalgia.

I finally got to catch this one last night. Who knew you could get so much humor and so many uncomfortable situations from horse semen? I alternately laughed my ass off and cringed through the whole show. The "Sticky Wicket" scenes were great with the whole "bullet time" camera shots of the battling American and Scottish owners. I also liked the whole sub-plot with the roomate. I could have done without some of the quick cut editing, but that's just the old man in me speaking.

From viewing just the one show, I think it's probably one of the best things on television right now, but I also know that it won't last. Your average viewer just ain't gonna get it.

God, I hope they make those two bar owner guys semi-regulars on the show. They had me cracking up.

I'd really like to see this one last. Two shows in and two shows that were exceptionally funny and smart at the same time. They need to find a place for it. But what'll likely happen is what happens to all brilliant shows. It starts out as a replacement for a show that's recently seen its season finale (in this case 24), then gets moved around on the schedule to different times and days to test where it fits best, people who tuned in and liked it won't be able to find it since it's being moved around so much, then it'll be cancelled due to poor ratings. Can anyone say Family Guy? I knew you could.

I'm already depressed.

Okay, it's official...I love keen eddie, it was hysterical--the jump cuts I could do without, but I'll suffer through 'em b/c the rest of the show is so damn good.

Another fine episode last night. Not quite as funny as the previous two, but still quite good. Man, I hope they can keep this up.

what cracked me up about last night's show was who some of the characters reminded me of.....the girl that's his flatmate makes me think of Patsy Kensit. And of course the soccer star looked like Liam Gallagher. That was pretty sweet casting on someone's part. What a fun show!

So THAT'S who that was. I was swearing up and down trying to remember, and I could never place her behind all that makeup. She is/was the best part of 'Whose Line...'.

As for the show, I've GOT to get TiVo. I only get to see 15 minutes of it before I've got to go to work and the VCR is on the fritz. But from what I've seen, I love it.

I got to see the first half but missed the second half while putting the kid to bed. It's still good and I still like it (the Ms. Moneypenney bit kills me every time), I just wish it was on during the one hour a day I'm able to watch T.V., 10:00. I never really realized how graphic it was until I'm sitting there watching it while playing with my kid.

I saw it & it was good. I've probably caught about 1/2 of the episodes. I agree -- this is the perfect summer tv show.

My favorite part was when Moneypenny said she liked it on all fours and then they showed Eddie's fantasy of her being, well, on all fours. She's hot.

Funny show. I liked the dense boxer guy from last night's episode too.

There are so many cool little bits I love about this show. What's sad is that the guest characters each episode are so damned funny and clever, I want them to come back and they most likely won't. Jimmy the boxer from last night, the American and the Scot who own the bar together, the "actor" guy. All are hilarious. Either way, this is a great new show and I look forward to it every week.

I hope Fox doesn't screw this up and cancel it! Keen Eddie is a great show! And the only reason I didn't watch it last night is that I had to work, but the wifey watched and gave me a synopsis...

Keen Eddie is going to be on Thursdays at 8 now. "OC" is moving in to Tuesdays at 9 until Jack Bauer returns. This Brit show "MI-5" that is going to be on A+E tonight looks like it could be cool.

I knew they'd start moving it around, trying to "find out where it works best." It'll die a quick and painful death against Friends and UPN's WWE Smackdown. *sigh*

Didja watch tonight? Probably not. I'm sure everyone forgot. I almost did.

Anyway, when it was over, there were no scenes for next week's episode, so I got worried and searched the net for an answer. Apparently, it's off the air until August 28th, then it'll be back on Thursdays at 8 again. Sorry, but this is the death knell for this show unless something is done.

Apparently, fans have started a letter writing campaign to make sure it stays on the air. So, if you want to continue seeing this show, drop a quick postcard to FOX telling them how much you love it. The address is:

FOX Broadcasting Company
P.O. Box 900
Beverly Hills CA 90213

Supposedly, you can enter some info and send a postcard for free via http://www.miniusa.com/crm/load_mini.jsp?link=motoron/sendacard using the e-mail address askfox@foxinc.com when prompted, but I can't validate whether this is true or not. I'll try, but I'm gonna go ahead and send one myself anyway.

Let' save this show, dammit!

Was this the first time you've seen the show? Wait 'til you see the other episodes in the series' short life (next week's is a previously unaired episode I'm charged up to see). Seemed like they found their groove early. The first episode was good, but it got better.

So pissed I missed tonight's episode, a previously unaired one at that. I was watching 24 and completely forgot to set up my VCR to record it on another TV until about 10 minutes before it was over. Grrrrrr. Is it too much to hope Bravo has a rerun policy similar to VH1 and MTV?

Moving to Wednesday nights at 10PM on Bravo.

While that time slot is much better for me, when shows start getting moved around it's never a good sign.

On the plus side, I've now seen two episodes I hadn't previously, so I don't know if they've produced more or if I just happened to catch the two that were previously unaired.

I'm just pissed Bravo hasn't shown the episode called "Horse Heir." You know the one, with the pub "The Sticky Wicket," and the purebred horse seed. Best episode ever!

Other than that, I'm totally psyched it's back on TV at all!

They haven't? I could've sworn it was on one night and I caught the end of it.

Damn. If they showed it, maybe they will repeat it. All I know is they have been showing things totally out of order. Maybe they showed it a time other than Tues 9pm, because it has not been on then. Of course, now it's on Weds at 10pm, like you said, which is much, much better.

Also, I checked the TV schedule on Bravo, and the only place I can find that episode mentioned is in the list of all episodes.
I find myself getting increasingly bitchy about this. Wah!

I think maybe they have a couple of episodes where they go to the Sticky Wicket, that bar where the guys are in a perpetual argument and they've divided the bar right down the middle. Those guys are hilarious.

Anyway, I am pretty sure they showed another episode where they went to that bar, assuming that is the same one. I dunno. I'm sleepy and not making sense.

New Keen Eddie on Bravo tonight. 10 pm.

"Who Wants to Be in a Club That Would Have Me as a Member", Episode #105.

Eddie befriends the victim of a hazing incident at a private school, and the youth begins to emulate him in every respect.

Also, I think the kid in this episode is the kid from About a Boy. Which means this episode should be fabulous!

Last night's ep was so-so. I was a little disappointed in the plot. Like they haven't done the private school hazing episodes to death... so many shows... same results.

The kid from About a Boy was pretty good, though. He cracks me up.

In other news, next week's episode looks hilarious. The fight club plot has also been done to death, but it still looks funny.

Forgot it was on until 10:30. Caught the last half of the episode and was a bit lost, but it was still decent. The plot did seem a tad trite, though.

I don't want 'em to get it on. Part of the charm of the show. Kinda like Moonlighting.

I don't wanna see him get it on with Miss Moneypenny either. His fantasies about her crack me up and it'd be a shame if they ended because he hit it.

Eddie: "How are you today, Miss Moneypenny?"

Miss Moneypenny: "completely shaved" (followed by a quick downward glance).

Classic.
