Anybody else catch this flick? I enjoyed it immensely. If I had a complaint about it, it was the lack of a definitive ending, but I'm getting used to that sort of thing (it seems to be the thing to do these days). Other than that, character development was top notch. I've always been a Rachel Weisz fan, but I thought she definitely made the movie.

Hey! Is this the Neil LaBute movie that Elvis Costello mentioned (to PHIL!)? Is his music present throughout the film?

Caught this up at the Neon over the weekend and I will also highly recommend it. I went into it knowing nothing about it other than it was from Neil LaBute and therefore would be pretty fucked up. I was not disappointed. :-D

Rachel and Paul give very strong performances and I even thought Gretchen Mol was pretty good, although I don't care for her. The Elvis tunes were a nice touch.

The Elvis tunes were a nice touch.I finally saw this 2 1/2 years later and enjoyed it. Pretty much agree with shivvy on this, especially the point about Gretchen Mol. The would be "It Girl" has never gone over well with me. But, she was actually enjoyable in this film.

I wanted more Elvis...they definitely could have filled in my more gaps with any of his many relationship songs.

yeah i saw it two years ago shortly after dudeman wrote his post about it having heard about it, but never posted my thoughts on it. unfortunately, i din't really like it so much. it was interesting and i don't necessarily mind a misandrist movie per se, but i just din't think it was executed to well. but, it was a great cast, so i'll give it that.
