I didn't think that they were going to make it here for their farewell tour. But thank god.....they are going to after all.

SCREW SUMMER SCHOOL!!!! This is the last time you will get to see them.....
One More Time - Screw summer school. This is the last time you will get to see them.
Anyway, with summer school aren't you allowed to miss one day and still pass?

Ohhhh D-Plan.
I saw them last night, here in DC. They put on a splendiferous show. All requests. Lots of Pips. Two hours. Lots of stories from Travis. They looked like they were having a ball (not that they don't always look like that). They took a lot more liberties with songs than they usually do, but still played really tight, even on the arcane requests that they admitted not having played in 5+ years.
They will be sorely missed, especially here in DC.
Postfeminist -- you'll never forgive yourself if you miss your last opportunity to see them.

the dismemberment plan is coming through here this Saturday. i've never cared too much for them, but i snatched up tickets as soon as i saw the openers: Enon AND the Beauty Pill!!!! (ok, maybe i shouldn't be so excited about the beauty pill, as they've only released a five-song ep...but The Cigarette Girl From the Future is such a great song.) i'm sooooo pumped for this line-up. and i am starting to dig the d'loaded version of Emergency & I that i've been listening to in preparation.

I saw the Plan last night in SF. Apparently the all request show is the way they're going out. So make sure you dress conspiculously, because "Skinny guy in black t-shirt...what do you want to hear" just won't work.
For what it's worth, in no particular order, here's what I can remember hearing last night (no idea if it's complete):
Gyroscope
8 1/2 minutes
Girl O'Clock
Memory Machine
The City
Spider in the Snow
The City
You are Invited
A Life of Possibilities
If I Don't Write
Onward, Fat Girl
OK. Jokes Over
Academy Award
Bra
Do the Standing Still
Ice of Boston
Ellen and Ben
Following Through
Time Bomb
The Face of the Earth

Oops, sorry, I haven't visited this thread in awhile. The setlist was similar to Slow Dog's above with the addition of Dismemberment Plan Gets Rich, When Have I Ever Been Known To Say No and What Do You Want Me To Say?

I don't recall them doing Superpowers.
Just get up front, wear a funny hat, and request it.
The only request they turned down when I saw them was "Crush"

Oh, I forgot.....they played both ".....Gets Rich" and "What Do You Want Me To Say?"
