Check out www.mattanthoney.com for a new website for singer/songwriter Matt Anthoney. Who am I? What kind of music? I'm new to the music scene and write music with articulate lyrics wrapped in garage beats and pop melodies. Artists my sound is similar to are David Gray, Fiona Apple, Jon Brion, Guster, and The Notwist, among others.
www.mp3.com/mattanthoney is also up if you prefer to download from there.
Hope you enjoy the sites...feel free to let me know what you think.

Breakout - Some of the vocals early in the song are just a little uneven. Slightly sharp. Once the song gets rolling, though, it gets better. Otherwise, the only thing I can see to suggest in the actual recording is when you're doubling the vocals in certain spots. Personally, I'd bump it down in the mix just a little bit. It'll still be beefy, which is what I'm guessing you were going for. At similar volumes, all the flaws between the two separate vocals shine through, something I assume you don't want.
Second Place - The occasional same problem as in the first song with being slightly sharp here and there early in the song. It happens much less in this tune, though. I really dig the guitar line in this one.
Songwriting isn't bad, but needs a little oomph.
Overall, it's not too shabby in my book. Has a kinda Duncan Sheik meets Elliot Smith vibe. I COULD dig this a whole bunch. I just think the breathy vocals need a touch of work. You look and sound the part of a hearthrob (I'm male and dig the ladies, settle down), so I can see you being successful with a little work.
Best of luck, man.
