Disregarding their first single from this album "she's gonna break soon", the album rocks yo fine ass from start to finish.

Less than jake has continued the growing as artists they started on hello, rockview.

They have made the meaningful, yet poppy, song an art form. The cd itself is full of great music, great horn work and most of all really great lyrics. It's a fine thing to see one of the favorite bands of your youth grow up.

This is a continuation of the theme they set up in the last few albums. In hello rockview they talked about what it was like living in a sucky place and growing bored with it. Borders and boundaries talked about leaving that place for something better, maybe. Now, with anthem, they have gotten out of the place and seem rather confused about who they are and why they ever left in the first place, do they really deserve the recognition they've gotten? or is it a fluke? Who knows, but i certainly hope they continue making the music they've been making, it would be a loss to humanity if they ever did end their careers.

what do you think?
