i love that 70's show, it's one of the few shows i make a point to watch each week. this year's episodes have been a bit of a let down, including the season finale. i have no idea if it is the last show, i suppose we could look it up, the networks have announced their lineups for next year.

it's on the schedule for next year alright. they aren't even moving the day/time next year amazingly. boy it's always a tough transition when kids get older in a show. will they jump the shark?

We ought to be approaching the 80s at this point. I thought the show was supposed to have began in '77, when they were what, sophomores?
Anyway, great show.

Looooove That 70's Show. Especially Fez.
Speaking of Fez, why do they spell it with a "z"? It's supposed to stand for Foreign Exchange Student 'cause they don't know his name.

Somewhat off topic, but I recall when I was a kid in the 70s, my family played host to two female teenage soccer players from Canada that were down for about a week for some kind of tournament or something that my sisters were in. I don't remember a damned thing about them, their names or why exactly they were here, but I remember being hopelessly in love with one of them at the ripe old age of maybe 7. Ah, memories.

Donna: I like my butt. I like my butt and I like to shake it!!
I'm sure I'm wrong on the quote, but it's the episode when Donna moons in Jackie's cheerleading picture in the yearbook. Later on, they're all getting high in the basement and Donna is giggling about how much she likes to shake her booty.

Are you sure it's officially spelled fez? I thought it was spelled with an 's'? Maybe it was originally spelled with an 's' in the scripts and it looked dumb so they changed it along the way.
That kind of thing happens sometimes, they'll go with something in scripts forever, but it gets popular or necessary to show it, and it looks stupid so they change it. After all, Homer's d'ohs were originally refered to as 'annoyed grunts' in the scripts.

I love That 70s Show! Every day, after work, I turn on Fox to watch the syndicated episodes over dinner. My favorite one is the Nixon/streaking episode, when the prez comes to visit & Eric winds up streaking the assembly wearing a Nixon mask, to save Red from choking at the Q&A mic.
Eric: (going upstairs to bed, post-streaking) Goodnight Dad.
Red: Next time, don't wear socks. You looked like an ass.

So this season of the show has been harder for me to watch considering that its on the same time as LOST, but the season finale just aired, with the last season supposedly being next season and they are losing both Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher as regulars next season and supposedly only as guests a few times. I bet it will lose most of the luster that it still has left...anyways, I still enjoy the show except for Charlie, I just don't dig his character. I bet a lot will go on next season though..

This season just wasn't good until the season finale, and it was sad to realize that Topher Grace was not coming back to the show. As much as I enjoy Hyde, I'm afraid the show will turn into the Hyde & Jackie show which will get old fast.
I hope that next season will be the final season, and they at least have Eric come back from Africa in the finale. They need some closure between him and Donna. I won't miss Ashton Kutcher/Kelso that much. He'll be around for a handful of episodes, and that's plenty. His schtick got old 3 season ago--plus I just don't care for Ashton Kutcher.

I believe on all the networks where the 'kids' have been doing promos for this season's finale/next season, they have basically been saying that Topher and Ashton are going to be back for limited appearances next season and that also next season will be the last. At least that is what I have gathered from all the interviews and such that I have heard.

i love that 70s show, but my problem is i cant get into the new episodes, but my life is put on pause for an hour every weekday at 5 and 530 so i can watch the re runs of the older ones.

your lucky that you still get double the episodes...we used to get that here at 5 and 530 as well but then they added king of the hill which I really don't mind at all and also dharma and greg so now we only get it once at 6....

Aww shucks - as much as I'm REALLY gonna miss this show, it's probably the time to end it since Topher and Ashton have left. You have to admit - the really rounded out the cast.
PASADENA, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- Fox's veteran comedy "Malcolm in the Middle" will end its seven-season run May 14, while "That '70s Show," now in its eighth season, will bow out four days later, the network said Tuesday.
For the homestretch, "Malcolm" will return to Sundays beginning January 29, opening the night at 7 p.m., a slot generally occupied by cartoon reruns.
Meanwhile, Fox is in conversations with former "That '70s Show" stars Ashton Kutcher and Topher Grace to return for the show's finale, Fox entertainment president Peter Liguori said during the network's portion of the Television Critics Assn. winter press tour....
