Has nay one seen this, the reviews are so so. THe trailer they had out a couple years ago looked good. That was before he had to get it down to a "R" rating.
Any one want to tell me if I should go see it at the big dollar theatre or wait to see it at the cheapies.

If you like Rob's stuff, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, old Italian gore flicks and have a really fucked up sense of humor like myself, you'll probably dig it as much as I did.

I went in expecting a horrd movie, but it actually was a lot better than I expected. The acting isn't too good, the direction isn't that good, but it will freak you out. If you like old horror flicks, i.e. Night of the Livind Dead, you will probably love this.

I disliked it. It is now what I use to decide if movies are good or not. Example: "Well at least it wasn't as bad as House of 1000 Corpses".

Well, you didn't even tell us why you didn't like it? Do tell...

Uh...there was no story and a complete lack of character development to begin with. *****SPOILER*****They go on and on about this Doctor Satan and he only shows up in the last few minutes? That's when the movie began to get interesting. It had potential but it just kinda trailed off. I would like to think it's because he was told to re-edit it so many times. Maybe that's being optimistic.

If you like Rob Zombie/White Zombie videos and concerts, or cheesy old horror movies, you will like this movie. I didn't expect a big storyline, just gore. And that's what I got. I loved it. But I like that sort of thing.

I just rented this last night...and I'm still not quite sure where I stand. I really liked the old horror film references, the cast (even though the victims didn't have a lot of character development), the villians were good (even though they seem to be typecast.)
I thought it was pretty predictable. I thought some of the camera shots and music were pretty neat. Honestly, I would only recommend this movie to die hard horror film buffs or people who like a lot of gore. The best part of the film is hands down (in my opinion) Sid Haig. (please note avatar)

My favorite thing about this dvd is that conservative places like Wal-Mart are carrying it, but they asked Lion's Gate for a different cover...because the normal version (in a shitty digipack might I add) uses the quote "A WORK OF DEMONIC BRILLIANCE!" on the front.
Wal-Mart and Target are among the stores carrying a version that comes without the quote! The dvd is exactly the same (although it comes in a plastic case and not the horrible digipack that is impossible to get open without fucking up!) in all other respects.

Its a rip off of TCM, but Rob admitted as much to be fair...It was good if you like the oldskool type horror and if you liked TCM....As for the storyline, there is gonna be a sequel which will work on that more.
