It has all of her hits.

Go figure.

Luka
Tom's Diner (DNA version)
Marlene on the Wall
Caramel
99.9F
Tired of Sleeping
Small Blue Thing
Blood Makes Noise
Left of Center
(I'll Never Be) Your Maggie May
In Liverpool
Gypsy
Book of Dreams
No Cheap Thrill
Calypso
World Before Columbus

All in all a decent collection of her work, although I wish the a-capella version of Tom's Diner and Widow's Walk were here, but I can live with it.

when i saw the title of this thread, a snarky reply came to mind... i was, obviously, going to post a reply saying "best of suzanne vega, huh? must be a short disc."

but you had to go and list the tracks (a few of which i like) thus leaving me to stew with my snarkiness and feeling snarky, i decided to post about my bitterness at being foiled.

tom's diner was my favourite song when it came out; if i hear it now, it makes me want to go to Alice's Restaurant.

I don't know much of her stuff, but I love her song "Widow's Walk" on her latest record. Good stuff.
