my friend brad went to the one in lexington if thats the show your referring to. he said "it totally kicked his ass.: so i take it it was awesome show. He said they played for about 2.5 hours. So he said he had a great time. I was wondering if anyone knew if Pj is playing with sparta this summer when they come to cincy

Phew, 2-1/2 hours--that's too long. Definitely getting your money's worth. Idlewild are scheduled to open up for PJ on June 19 at the Riverbend. Sparta played Bogart's on March 12. Did you go to that?

I was there and it was soooooo awesome. The crowd was really into it both old and new songs. The 2.5 hour show is pretty typical for all the North American dates so far this tour. I'm going to Cleveland on friday and Pittsburgh on saturday. And then 3 shows in June when they come to Cincy, Indy, and C-bus:)

Didn't go, but I have seen Sparta twice, and both times kicked ass; royally. PJ has there on nights and there off nights, but they are never too horrid.

any one know when the mars volta will be around this way? and when their Lp is out?

According to the mars volta website, no ohio dates so far. Their lp should be out in June.

I read that Sparta are going to release some new stuff also (not sure when). I plan to see them tomorrow in Buffalo. Can't wait.
