yes, I had already known about moe., Jason Mraz, and Gomez being there and was hoping they'd add one more act I really wanted to see, and boy did they come through by getting Ben Folds. I went last year and had a great time seeing John Mayer, Howie Day, Jack Johnson, and O.A.R....Tickets are extremely well priced at $16 for a 2-day pass....more info can be gotten at http://www.pepsijamminonmain.com , can't wait for this one. :D

that is very very good.

$16 bucks. you're kiddin. that's exactly why i'm hot on lollapalooza. i know there's a big difference in talent. but $16 for all these bands. that's really cool. i'm pretty sure ben folds at bogarts was up around $15 anyway. i'm sorry for my ranting, but this, for me, is a much better deal.

No need to be sorry. You are very very correct and I couldn't agree more. $60+ for hardly accessible, heavy-rotation mainstream artists? If only it were like the original Lollas of the past.

I am SO excited about Jammin' this year. I know where I will be--Stage 2 on Friday. :)

The only thing that sticks is that Joan Jett is playing the same time as Ben Folds!

Damn! This is one of the few times that I've been disappointed to have moved from Cincinnati!

Ben Folds, Gomez, Ween and Concrete Blond????? for $16????

I'm envious... and plotting to find a way to come home for that weekend! :)

And don't forget the possibility of being pepper sprayed by police -- yay!! That was a riot! Literally!

I had driven a couple hours to see a bunch of bands that year, and OtR were set to start about 15 mins after Seven Mary Three.. Then.. Obviously.. All hell broke loose. I was over at the Seven Mary Three stage when it happened.
