I can't believe this movie is being made...
I can't believe that Snoop Dogg has been cast as Huggy Bear.
I can't believe I may actually have to go see it because of the re-teaming of Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.
Ahhhhhhhhhh.

It was just a matter of time...
Done right, this can be way cool. I hope they set it in the 70s instead of making it modern-day.
Snoop as Huggy Bear is an inspiring bit of casting.
Carmen Electra would be disappointing.
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson is fantastic.

This could only be good if Wes Anderson directs.

Yeah, someone ought to remind Owen to read the scripts before he signs on to do them. He's been in more than his fair share of crappy flicks given the length of his career.

I like Owen and Ben together (have Zoolander on DVD), but only when Owen doesn't play a leading character.
Both I Spy and the Shanghai movies, IMO, suffer from the fact that Owen is one note in a lead role (check Behind Enemy Lines for an example).
The reason he works in films like Zoolander is he's more of a support system for the leads than an actualy lead, and he's better at playing off of someone rather than with someone.

owen does a damn fine job of writing films and starring in films that involve wes anderson. outside of that realm, he really blows. his brother, luke, has had some ok roles outside the wes anderson scope but owen... dear, sweet, semi-nasal, oddly-nosed owen... i really cant say anymore because it's depressing to think about some of the real shitters he has been in.
