guano apes?

i saw a video by the guano apes on italian mtv the other day. hard, rage against the machine type sound, famale singer (though her voice is low, easily mistaken for a guy, probably). has anybody ever hear of them? i downloaded some mp3s, most of which i really like. i'm just wondering who they are? where they're from? they're pretty decent.

I have Proud Like A God and LUV it! I heard there's a new one out or coming out, but haven't had time to look around. I think it's safe to say if you like what you heard, you won't go wrong with any cd's you find by them.

Guano Apes had two US radio singles from Proud Like A God--"Open Your Eyes" and "Lords of the Boards". The former received substantial play on 120 Minutes (on MTV) and MTV2. The latter was added on a few stations out west.
