Alright, I haven't heard anything out of Tonic since they released the song "You Wanted More" about 4 years ago, but I saw on Bogart's website that they're playing April 28th.

Has anyone been following the band at all the past few years, and if so, what have they been up to lately? I assume they've probably released a CD recently if they're touring right now. I enjoyed their Lemon Parade CD quite a bit and never got a chance to see them live, so I'm now debating whether it would be worth $12 to go see them later this month (plus another $12 or so to possibly buy a recent CD of theirs to familiarize myself with their latest stuff.)

Tonic release a new album in the past six months, entitled *Head On Straight*. Frankly, I was not impressed at all.

I do like previous Tonic music though.

If you watch that new show "American Dreams" on NBC, Sunday nights (excellent show by the way), the theme song is done by Emerson, Tonic's lead singer. It fits well.

I did some research in attempting to find some more info on Tonic, and I found out that this show will be an acoustic (as has been their entire tour). I guess the drummer is no longer in the band.

Their newest CD isn't up to par with the previous two. It's very middle of the road, but I like it enough that I'd pay to see the band again. Saw them on their last tour and they're one of the better live bands I've seen. Shame this is an acoustic show, though. As good as I'm sure it would be, I won't be paying 12 bucks for that.

Really liked the first record.
Really LOVED the second record.
Saw them on their second record tour. GREAT SHOW!!!
HATED the latest record with a passion. I almost cried.
Don't care to see them.
All acoustic show you say? As much as I love acoustic guitar . . .
Count me not present for this show.
