I just got tickets for the Riverbend show on the Lollapalooza website yesterday rather that waiting for Ticketmaster's crappy seats. I got 2 for $69 a piece (tax included). Not too bad for a Festival

$69!!! My '95 ticket stub for section 300 seats was $31.25. $69 will buy alot of diapers these days, so I guess I'll be staying home.

Yah, I went through the diaper money dellima too, but then I realized that I'd be kicking myself for years to come for not going.

I got my tickets for the Columbus Show today.

Details Here (http://www.Lollapalooza.com)

I'm just going for the QOTSA, Jurrasic 5, and the Jane's Addiction reunion. Not really into the Donnas and never heard of the other bands. I hope there's some good stuff on the second stage during those shows. I always wind up falling in love with at least one of the second stage bands.

BTW...my friend just won tickets on 97x for the Cincy show...so I just might get to go twice.

Jane's Addiction, Queens of the Stoneage, Audioslave, Incubus, Jurassic 5, The Donnas...plus more to come.

I don't think $69 is too bad considering that you usually pay at least $30-$35 to see one of these bands at a time. The fest starts at noon and goes all day. I'm just excited to see QOTSA. Curious on how Audioslave's performance will be (i was a huge Soundgarden and Rage fan), and also Jane's reunion. Plus, I never made it to one of the original concerts for Loll.

i don't pay $35 to see any of these bands and i'm not going to spend $69 to see them all at once. i just want to see jane's and incubus anyway. i've already seen j5 twice.

i also remember only paying about $30 for my only lollapalooza. it was the one with tool and prodigy. if i wanted to see all of them YEAH, but right now... no way.

Who cares how many times you've seen J5? or who you'd be going to see and who not.

I'd go but its on a Wednesday and I've bailed on work to 2 baseball games already with 3 more scheduled during my workday so I can't attend. (I work 2nd now for those not in the "know".)

Well, that's inflation for ya'. There are three bands I really want to see and then there's always the second stage. I've seen so many good second stage acts at the various Lollapalooza. That makes it all worth it. Plus, don't forget a day of frollicking around in the hot sun with hundreds of sweaty fellow freaks.

Eyeballita....the Columbus show is on a Sunday. The Monday morning hangover will suck, but if I close my office door, I might be able to lay my had down when it gets too rough.

I was so busy worring about the money that I completely forgot that it's on July 16th and I'm having a baby on the 23rd. Probably not a good idea for me to go.
