Hell no you're not the only one! I loved it! I have every episode, except one that never aired in the US, on VCD... not as good quality as DVD but it kept me laughing while I waited for these to come out!

More good news about the Family Guy... rumor (http://www.animationinsider.net/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=7&t=484) has it that it's going to be picked up by Cartoon Network's Adult Swim!!!!!

yes cartoon network has picked up family guy for thier adult swim lineup, unfortunately no new episodes will be shown.

i cant believe it got cancelled in the first place. this is the funniest damn cartoon ever. well next to the simpsons.

Okay, so I have in my possession the Family Guy Volume 1 box set. 28 episodes of pure joy. That comes down to around 10 hours, give or take. Give me a moment to collect myself......

Okay, first the bad news. This set doesn't seem to have the bevy of extra features that I'm used to when it comes to full season (or two) collections of animation from Fox. So, um...the Simpsons sets are better. Yeah, that's the extent of the bad. The good is the fact that it's 28 FRIGGIN' EPISODES OF FAMILY GUY PRESENTED PERFECTLY ON DVD. I am content.

I got mine on the release day (Tuesday). I'm already on the third dvd of four. I've never ever had a television show get at least 15 good laughs from me consistetly every episode like the Family Guy.

Seinfeld was great, but it usually yielded about 12.3332 good laughs from me per episode.
