Elvis, JFK, mummies?
Looks kooky enough to be a winner in my book.

Yes, I went out to the American Cinematheque in Hollywood on Thursday night to see this movie. Bruce Campbell was appearing in person before and after the movie to lead a discussion. But, alas, after driving out there, it was sold out. So I didn't get to see it. :( I guess it doesn't have a US distributor yet, but judging from the huge size of the crowd on Thursday, I bet it will find one soon.

BBSpot just did a Trailer Review (http://www.bbspot.com/News/2003/09/review_bubba_hotep.html). Still sounds like a winner....I just hope it comes around here.

Even though we're in the film forum - I just wanted to ask if anyone digs BC to check out his autobiography "If Chins Could Kill." It's good stuff.
I really hope this film comes to Las Vegas. They don't always get a whole lot of culture out here.... You'd think that since we're in "the Elvis town" we'd be guaranteed this movie, but somehow I don't think the casinos will go for it. Oh, films about alcoholics, robbers, pimps, gamblers, smugglers, and suchlike are alright....

Has Bigfoot ever been spotted picking through the dumpsters in Las Vegas?
I intend to read BC's book one day, my present "read pile" is about 3 feet high!
I hope that "Brisco County" makes it to DVD one day, I really enjoyed that program.
