obama had better think long and hard before he gives into the intense political pressure and names hillary as his running mate, as bill will be a massive albatross around his neck.

indeed, bill seems to have lost his old deft touch and has become an irascible, angry man who apparently is out skirt-chasing again, if you're to believe this VF article. he's also running with some sleezy characters who have supplied him with planes and speaking engagements in return for them trying to buy some credibility. there's a controvery over this article, and i have no way of knowing how much of it is true. but, knowing bill, most of it probably IS true.

gina gershwin? i'd totally hit that, so gotta give bill some props on that one...

If a blow job was all it took for W. to turn into Bill Clinton, there would have been 20,000 women (and men) lined up around the White House to give him one.

the jabbering says that hillary will promise to lock bill in his library and his foundation when she meets with obama tonight. it's too bad they can't do it, but there's other fish in the sea.

Ditto.

Interestingly enough, Todd Purdum, the article's author, is married to former Clinton White House Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers.

i think it just makes it easier for obama to push the clinton VP fantasy off the table for good. maybe he'll give her a cabinet position. that's a better fit for her anyway.

eh, you know that neither bush nor b. clinton are eligible to run again, right? so this isn't really about which of the two we're going to opt for as president.

beating a dead horse, fuck the media, give me bill over baby bush any dayNo shit. I didn't even like Clinton that much as President, I still don't care for him but he has proven to be a hundred times better than Bush Jr. I seriously gave Bush a chance. I really tried.

yes I know that - but bringing him up time after time to bash his wife or the party just wears thin, they beat him like a dead horse because its the only thing they've got left to hate about the party

the media needs to get over it - he wasn't a bad pres, he did a pretty good job, and at the end of the day - he was light years better for the US than baby bush

How about some of you Clinton lovers allow him to take some responsibility for the mess we are in now? His blow job enabled Rove to stir up the conservatives and caused Gore to lose. His admin was partially, maybe mostly, responsible for creating the environment that allowed 9/11 to happen, which ended up giving Bush and Co. the opportunity and the excuse needed to make things worse.

Why is it Bill gets a pass?

Bill Clinton and his wife are liars. Yea, maybe they wouldn't lead us into a war, maybe everyone would like us better, but he's not getting a pass on 8 years of mismanagement and hanky panky.

It's relevant because if his wife gets in so does he. If he gets in the conservatives have a new reason to vote.

If he gets in the conservatives have a new reason to vote.In part, Bill gets a pass because times were a lot better for his eight years than they were for most of Bush's years. But I'll agree that a lot of the mess in these past eight years refer back to Bill. But Bush's handling (or probably more accurate, his handler's handling) of the situations have been atrocious.

People remember what is most fresh in their minds.

Wait a second, bro. The Republican parties' 46 Million dollar boondoggle witchhunt for the Bill's head created the toxic environment.

Its YOU conservatives who've give your parties' ridiculous antics the free pass, bro. Because as policy goes and what got done, Clinton and the Republican Congress were the most effective team in 25+ years.

Despite all of the shenanigans, Clinton and your Speed Bump congress, still got some great things done.

Clinton lied about a blow job. His wife lied about what exactly. Because your 46 Million proved what?

Bird shit I realize you're a brain dead talk show host personality but maybe you can read again.

YES, THE BLOW JOB STIRRED UP RELIGIOUS CONSERVATIVES AND THAT LED TO A LOSS IN 2000. Can you understand now? Bill was the spark that started the fire. I hate religious conservatives, I blame them for destroying the republican party.

Sorry, I know nuance isn't your strong suit.

I marvel at how a blowjob has defined an individual and cast celestial judgment upon the recipient.

But then again someone can invade a sovereign nation on false pretenses, or shoot someone in face, or allow energy CEOs to set consumer energy policy...

You all make me laugh, but in that shaking my head, reaching for the medicine way.

Yeah, it was a blowjob and I personally don't think blowjobs are that big of a deal...

HOWEVER,

How many of you could give/receive a blowjob at work on the clock and get caught and still keep your job?

i still love bill and respect hillary, even though they are a trip and often baffle me. but bill has this whole side of him that is, well, a LITTLE out of control.;) and he sort of let a lot go down the tubes because of it, including hillary's support from african americans.

he's something of a genius, and the looniness seems to be part of it. fascinating character. he can go back to doing what he was doing before hillary started her run for pres, and he'll probably be happy enough. hillary should go for a cabinet post. she's a brilliant woman who has much to contribute.

she gave obama a great plug in her AIPAC speech.

You are so naive to think that politicians have a "job" that doesn't intrinsically entail blow jobs. The truth is politicians make decisions and form alliances based solely on a series of blow jobs. Anyone who makes it to even Minority Whip is essentially a world class cock sucker. The G8 Summit is mostly a roman orgy. The invasion of iraq was spurred by our collective desire to receive blow jobs from iraqis. And the UN is the nastiest skank politicians on the planet. They'll blow anyone!

It's difficult for Clinton, easy for Bush. Bush is one of the worst presidents in history, at least history I care about. Clinton appeared pretty good, but mismanagement and very poor judgment led to where we are today.

In other words Bill drove the car 80,000 miles but never changed the oil or checked the tires. He veered off onto a bad road, then got out and handed the wheel to some dumb ass. The dumb ass blew a tire but decided to keep on driving, tearing up the rim. Hell he drove with 4 flat tires and the only thing that stopped him was when the car ran out of oil.
