Loses his Job

LAND 'O LAKES, Fla. -- A substitute teacher in Pasco County has lost his job after being accused of wizardry.

Teacher Jim Piculas does a magic trick where a toothpick disappears and then reappears.

Piculas recently did the 30-second trick in front of a classroom at Rushe Middle School in Land 'O Lakes.

Piculas said he then got a call from the supervisor of teachers, saying he'd been accused of wizardry.

"I get a call the middle of the day from head of supervisor of substitute teachers. He says, 'Jim, we have a huge issue, you can't take any more assignments you need to come in right away,'" he said.

Piculas said he did not know of any other accusations that would have led to the action.

The teacher said he is concerned that the incident may prevent him from getting future jobs.

Will he be burned at the stake if found guilty?

I think there's better than even odds that this guy was just f***ing off too much with the magic tricks when he should have been teaching. Knowing this is Florida, he (correctly) figures people will believe him if he says he got let go for wizardry.

it's not that he was doing magic tricks, it's that the toothpick was his penis and it was disappearing and reappearing from his zipper hole.

I was thinking that he might've been cited for witchcraft if the means he made it disappear was by summoning an imp-like familiar from the 3rd plane of Hell to jump through a blood-painted pentagram he drew on the chalkboard to take the toothpick away.

But I'm thinking it was probably more David Blaine-ish than Damien from Omen-ish.

Which would make California America's anus.Isn't Greenland it's head & South America it's legs? or it's feet.

Or is everything under Mexico a "dangling" thing? America is more than just the US kids

I've also heard somewhere that America is not the world.

Is this story even worth bringing up the witchcraft reference from The Holy Grail? This seems too stupid even for that.

Yeppers, this country gets smarter and more progressive every day...
