It basically sounds like all of the people that are in charge are like, "You are a silly lady. Stop sending us that crap."

I kind of agree with them.

While I also employed Silly String as a youth to detect explosive tripwires set by my enemies, it can be used recreationally as well.

I have been sending crateloads of Groucho Marx-styled facial appliances to the troops so they can affect a more "Arab" appearance to disguise themselves during covert "ops," though I do not doubt that many are used for "gags" and "hijinks" to inspire mirth. A good tonic for the hell of war.

After months of frustration, a mother of a soldier in Iraq has found someone to ship about 80,000 cans of Silly String to the troops, who use the foamy substance to detect trip wires on bombs.
I can't help but wonder what they'd do with 30,000 pounds of bananas.
