View Full Version : I hearby acknowledge that he was born today

With the appropriate pomp and circumstance while considering what may be considered condemntation, sarcasm, or gratiutous praise, I hearby publicly announce my awareness that MaL (Markalot) was birthed into this world many decades ago.

I do not wish him a particularly happy birthday, unless he so desires to have a happy birthday, in which case I will encourage him to make it a happy birthday through his efforts and any positive efforts I am willing to supply from my remote location. I will not wish him an unhappy birthday, as I would rather he had an uneventful birth day anniversary than have an unhappy one. There is a preference on my personal behalf for him to have, at least, a pleasant day of birth celebration, but to avoid seeming shallow, insincere, or out of character, I will refrain from wishing a happy annual recognition of his coming from a womb into the world without first being assured he desires to have one himself and is willing to make some effort to bring it to be.

So with that,
Again, I acknowledge your day of birth, may it be pleasant at least.

This Birthday greeting is not to be considered a binding legal statement or claim of the ability to predict or prosecute the degree of pleasantness or discomfort MaL (Markalot) may experience during this year's acknowledgement. Any usage of this announcement in a way not intended by the author must be verified before publishing.

Thanks Due. Coming from you that's huge. I am also looking for an uneventful day. My random moment of womb emergence tends to be superseded by a better known Hallmark card event.

some people find vanilla to be the most radical enjoyment they can find.
