that's right, it's the end of the month so rent/mortgages are almost due.... but on a brighter note, another Final Friday Art Walk is here.
Along with the ususal, there totally new shows up including:
at Kaldies: art (looked like paintings) by Shawn Blake and Mary Ann Letterer... plus "others". (meaning artists to be named at a later date: )
DesignSmith Gallery has "Songs for Twilight" which is new work by the immensely talented Emily Buddendeck.
Gallery 1305 has "Escapades" -- new work by Katie Whitaker.
of course PUBLICO still has the amazing once-in-a-lifetime Ryan McGuiness show up. although... I don't know if they'll be open this Friday...
Base has a multiple artist show with a photographer from Cali and a bunch of other stuff.
And I can't think of all the other stuff going on (like I know Sarah Jane Bellamy is finishing up her years at The Projects Gallery but I don't know what the show is...)
oh yeah, the CAC has a BIG (http://www.contemporaryartscenter.org/calendar/default.lasso) opening too. make a downtown-arts night of it!
