i'm looking for a reliable, no ads, web host for my graphic design endeavor.

if anyone has any good ones lemme know, i guess i'd pay but i'm trying to find the best deal out there...it's all kinda confusing to me...or if anyone has space they could lend out...i could hit you up with some moolah if necessary.

any help/info/free food would be greatly appreciated.

I use Total Choice Hosting (http://www.totalchoicehosting.com) The package I have is about 4 dollars a month... I have quite a lot of images hosted there, It's been 2 or 3 years and I haven't run out of bandwidth or disk space yet, nor has my site gone down very often as far as I know.

Anyway, I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it keeps me happy anyway.

that looks pretty cool, thanks a lot.

i just want something simple and reliable you know? i also kinda wanted to get a .nu site too.

so you pay the $4 a month fee, but how much was it to buy the actual domain and was there any other hidden registration charges?

thanks again

buy a domain! it's great to have one. i use abnormis.net for my hosting & i never have any problems with them at all. i pay $7.99/mo for mine, but you can get a package for as low as $4.99. i think it was about $20 for the domain name registration.

its really difficult to find a free server sans ads, etc. you can use geocities & pay them $4 a month for an add-free site. however, i think that webshells & the entire concept of uploading via browser is stupid. :p i heart ftp!

I use .mac which is great if you use Mac. It's well integrated with OS X.
