Eh, he's 18. He could have done worse. ;)
Being that I also have dived from high places on to things I shouldn't have when I was 18-19, I can't be too hard on the guy, you know?

Is that some weird sort of code for your sexual exploits?

Oh God no. I've jumped thirty feet onto a snowbank before. From a window. In a dorm.

Det. Kevin Czartoryski said Harper was arrested and police expect to charge him with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
Think he regrets it?
And I guess he wasn't even drunk?

"That was the only exciting thing that happened today," Yankees owner George Steinbrenner said after Chicago's 2-1 victory.
"People think we threw him off, but we're all best friends, so I don't think that would ever happen," said 20-year-old Giusseppe Tripi, another one of Harper's friends.
Classic.
And damn it, ya got me to post in the sports forum again! That's 3X now. :p

I think he regreted it the second he did it. He looked terrified, and the best part is the cops grabbing him at the end.

oh, man I just watched the video. I agree, he had second thoughts a little too late. I still can't believe a sober person would do this.

My theory is his buddies threw him over, or at the very least peer pressured him to do it. I think he may have been the nerdy one of the group and the cool kids told him to jump or he would have to find his own way home.

I've watched the video at least 20 times. You can tell he was sober the way he climbed back up. I like when he realized he put a hole in the net. I can't make out what he mouthed to himself though.
The cops sure did a number on him
