It was started by Direct TV. If you have direct TV, you can get it easily. I am not sure, but I think you can get it through your cable operator now. Get on the horn and check it out!

Why? the Seahawks have not done shit in...uh...forever. Why would you want to put yourself through that? Isn't suffering through every Bengals season enough?

The NFL Network began its broadcasting of 55 preseason games in 25 days this weekend. It was a beautiful thing to sit on my ass and watch Football all afternoon, even though it was taped delayed preseason games!!!

Yeah, they had several games on at the bar I was at last night. The place was packed with NFL junkies wearing jerseys and rooting for third-stringers.

I so miss this from last year. There is a show on the NFL Network called "the point after" ...it is so good!!!!
It is a very short review of the game, followed by short clips of coach's and players post game interviews. very simple,,,,and very good!!

Never have I had the privelege of getting NFL Network on my cable.. Looking at the prospect of being a college student the next several years, it doesnt seem like I will be getting it anytime soon either.
I'm curious (being this issue is on the top of my mind from a previous post) how they covered the Terrell Owens "situation." I wonder if they pounded it down viewers throats like the Worldwide Leader did. If so, maybe its a blessing in disguise.
How has good ol' Rich Eisen been doing lately anyway?

I watched it when I was in the Smokies last weekend. I really have a hard time watching Terrell Davis talk

just thought I'd bump this quote for Deacon's sake. Sabos seems like a reverse psychic with this statement. Deacon, to use an old farm phrase, you've got to be like a pig in shit this year (that's a good thing).
Oh, and the NFL Network does kick ass. When there is absolutely nothing else on the 100 channels of cable mediocrity, the NFL Network goes on by default.

Here is the Deacons problem -- He gets too high (emotionally, and I guess other highs also) after wins and he gets too low after losses.
After Feely missed his second FG against Seattle Deacon literally jumped out of his slippers.
I have also been around Deacon when "He has been physically sick" after losses. I believe Sabos was present after the "We'll take the ball and we're going to score" game in GB.

damn. Deacon sounds a lot like my cousin in that regard. He would sleep on the floor after Bengals losses. Needless to say, he didn't see much of his bed on Sunday nights in the 90's.
hey, I can't fault Deacon for being a diehard fan. just keep your eyes on him, Art, if the Seahawks and Bengals both lose in the playoffs on the same day/weekend. ;)

Yeah, that can NOT happen. The one thing that drives me nuts is when The Bengals lose and the Hawks win. He's like, "we'll at least seattle won".
I'm like fuck that Deacon -- what about the Bengals??

i'm pissed! my Houston cable provider doesn't have the NFL Network! has anyone had to harass their cable company to get them to provide it? if so, is it a successful battle?
it just baffles me, because Houston is one of the Top 5 cities in the nation by way of population, and they don't have the fuckin' NFL Network? craziness...

i did send an e-mail to my cable provider asking them what's up, and they sent me this address.

Gwar, you heard that Comcast and TWCable have done some shuffling of markets and Houston was dealt an ace. TWCable Houston is going to be Comcast in Houston in 2007. Doesn't help us now, but at least the future is brighter. NFL Network! *eventually*
