This is hilarious. I'm a huge redskins fan through good and bad times, and through the ages. I just feel this year is going to be terrible. They do have a favorable schedule, but I feel that there is little way of seeing a .500 year.

Sabos....you know I am pissed as hell that my Seahawks are not on the Poll options!!!!!!

This years Superbowl will end in an 9 quarter tie!!

Bengals 27 - Seahawks 27

I will then have a massive heart attack at the conclusion of this contest!!!

The heart attack is more likely the week the 'Hawks and the Bengals are eliminated from the playoffs.

By the way, you didn't vote.

I saw that and it is realistic since they still have a very strong offense and they made over the defense big time. Oh, but wait. One very important thing must happen before the Vikings win the Super Bowl.

HELL HAS TO FREEZE OVER.

Vikings Super Bowl record: 0-4.

No offense, but the Hawks have no heart what so ever. Maybe getting rid of Koren helps, but now you have no second WR. Seattle will make the playoffs due to a sucky NFC West, but sorry my friend no heart=no shot

one of the worst things about living in Atlanta during football season is that you are forced to hear the name "Michael Vick" mentioned CONSTANTLY & EVERYWHERE during the entire season.

The local news will do a story on ANYTHING about Michael Vick :

"Michael Vick has a new workout routine. We'll tell you all about it @ 11."

"Michael Vick has high exprectations for the 2005 Falcons. We'll tell you all about it @ 11."

"Michael Vick makes a public appearance for charity tomorrow night. We'll tell you all about it @ 11"

"Michael Vick wiped his ass today. We'll tell you all about it @ 11."

I don't know. I mean Whizzy was/is a really good back. He has speed and tons of strength. But with a healthy Bennett and a healthy O-line, which has some depth to it this year, look for Bennett to have a big year. Don't forget, the Vikes still have Moe Williams and Mewelde Moore who can pound the ball in key situations and Kleinsasser is back. We may also get the chance to see what rookie Ciatrick Fason can do. I don't think the Viking's running game is hurting much. Remember that Bennett does have a 1,200+ yard season to his credit.

What about J'Ville? I think Jags v Colts will be two of the better games this season in the NFL.

I think the Raiders can have a pretty scary offense, but then again you really can't count on Norv Turner to lead you team to the promise land.

I also got a gut feeling the Saints can finally reach their potential.

It'll be an interesting season for sure

I picked the Steelers. I figure Ben had a pretty good season as a rookie, and hopefully having one year of the pros and the playoffs under his belt will make him even better.

Of course, the same could be applicable to Carson, Krenzel, and Eli.....

(Except for the playoffs part..... oh yeah. And the part about being good)

no plaxeco "safety valve" burress.

heinz ward isn't a sure thing at the moment.

who's their tight end again? maybe I'm just a moron, but does the guy even run receiving routes?

Bettis and Staley better work 10x as hard as they did last year to keep Big Ben alive. mark my words.

2004 Steelers=flash in the pan.

they'll be tough this year, but I don't see a better future for them than 9-7.

and, keep in mind, these are the words of a die-hard Steelers hata. digest with the requisite grain of salt.

I'm suprised the Packers have the 7th best odds. Old man Favre is back and they have Ahman Green,....but the O-line is bad and their defense is going to be terrible this year. The Vikings will run away with the division and the Lions may beat out the Packers for second place.

I was always thinking that we needed a TE all last year & it is going to provide him with a new short target. For some reason I can see Ben becoming the type of QB who uses his TE very very often - kinda like Troy Aikman with Jay Novacek.

I picked Indianapolis, though that is not a strong pick. They have a good O and the D isn't atrocious.

Here's my take on the other teams:

New England - still good, but lost a lot. I think losing Andruzzi, Bruschi and Johnson plus 2 coordinators is going to hit them harder than most people think.

Pittsburgh - Ben will be a great QB. As smart as Brady with more natural talent. He'll have some growing pains this year that will keep them from the Super Bowl. That plus Bettis and Staley being older and no go to receiver.

Cincinnati - I hope they win it all, and I think they have just as good a chance as any other team. But, then again, this is the Bengals.

Vikings - Good upgrades in the offseason, but that D is going to take a year to gel. I see them as champions next year.

Packers - My gut says they will be bad this year. The defense is Bungle bad. The offensive line is no longer a strength and Ahman Green fumbles too much as it is (luckily they have a good backup). And Favre is taking more risks that I think will backfire. Then again, this is Favre and he seems to always get them to 8 wins.

Chargers - Good dark horse candidate. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Detroit.

Seattle - I actually like Arizona in that division, if Kurt Warner can play decently (not even greatness is needed).

Arizona - I think they will be pretty good and even win the division. But this is Arizona. It's like picking the Saints to win it all. They look promising, but they don't have enough to be champions.

Atlanta - Vick has to prove he can throw the ball effectively in the NFL. Other than that, I like this team.

If you want to know why any other team won't win the Super Bowl, I'll be glad to share that with you.

I wouldn't be too quick to say it's Favre's last year. I really think that if he stays healthy this year and they do fairly well, he may be back for another year or two. I certainly hope so anyway! If it is his last, I will at least get to see him play twice this year, once here in Cincy, once up in GB.

However, I'd be just as happy to see the Bengals make a good showing. As far as the NFC goes, blech, who cares anymore. They had their decade. I really hope Baby Ben does well this year too. You're right. But I'm thinking a different team from the NFC Norris Division could emerge as a surprise. Come on, sing it with me, you know the words (and if you don't):

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Make every play clear the way to victory!
Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
Put up a fight with a might so fearlessly!

We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation,
With your T formation.

Bear Down, Chicago Bears.
And let them know why you're wearing the crown.
