The more the better. This is really looking at their use of animal testing for beauty products.

Ok I don't mean to be the satan who pisses in the punch, and correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't you be protesting the FDA?
I mean they're the ones who mandate that drug companies test on animals in the specific order that the testing is done and yatta yatta yatta.
Maybe this doesn't apply to cosmetics, but I just assumed it did.
But ya know I just don't get into these kind of causes, anyway. That's just me.

Misfitt - Proctor and Gamble is not a drug company however they do own quite a few clearning agents that are tested on animals and don't need to be. People should not go around swallowing Windex and you can pretty much guess what happens if you do. You dont need to pour it down a rabbits' throat to know.
That being said alot of the medical testing done on animals may be needed however it could be done in a much more humanitarian way.
However, given what we as a society and species do to our children why should we give our fellow animal brothers and sisters any thought? Until we can treat each other with some respect I dont have much hope for anything nor anybody else (I guess thats why the aliens are staying away but thats for another thread).

Whoa. This protest isn't really against anything anymore..... it'll still be fun.
We can always turn it into an anti-corporate protest.

Do you think it's too late to put a call in to Zach DeLa Rocha? Maybe we could call Tom Morello and the rest of the guys, and stage a reunion?
I had the chance to be in Seattle. Also had a chance to go to NYC and protest the WTC there too. Crazy way more liberal people than me at Miami that I knew..... THe NYC trip was organized by my geography prof too.

of all the crimes in the world you want to start with Animal Testing?
I agree, I would rather not put animals through the pain of testing, and the death, and the psychological torture, however..
I'd rather be clear that I'm protesting unneccessary animal testing, not ALL animal testing. As far as I'm concerned this protest does NOT make that distinction.
Create a group that will say DOWN WITH TESTING IF WINDEX BURNS THE EYE! we already KNOW it does dumb@sses!
The moment they say STOP TESTING ANTI-HIV DRUGS ON MONKEYS is when I think they've outstepped the realm of reasonable people.
Separate the two ideals, I'll join.

i say f*ck all the corporations!!!! let's join an animal commune where we all hug and pet rabbits and squirrels all day and eat berries from mother nature (well, except for those Berry Rights whacko's! man, they're crazy!!)
it kills me that the organizers of this protest had no idea, or were blinded to the fact that P&G already agreed to stop 80% of it's testing on animals (the other 20% is required by law). Now, in the desperate search for something, anything to protest, it's going to turn into a general "anti-corporate" protest. talk about a waste of time and energy. "Down with Corporations. Down with these Nike's i'm wearing, and the Levi's pants i have on, and the Tommy shirt i'm wearing, and the leather belt that hold up my pants, and the tighty whitey Fruit of the Looms that hold my winky in place! Corporations are bad!!! Generally....Down with Corporations i say!!"
truly laughable.

Please note: I have not offered an opinion on this "topic" due to the fact that I do not want to enrage some folks with my views. Nor do I really care to hear their thoughts. This must be a sign of maturity (atleast for me).

My dear MF stated---->what's the worst that could happen? you'd get digitally bitch slapped?
Hee hee hee hee:D :p
I am holding my fingers in a wadded up fist. I will not fall prey to this.
What's wrong with a bitch slap anyways? I can dish it, I can take it. Just don't feel like parading my views on this. Many have already stated my thoughts. I don't need to add.

Guys,
I think this is some sort of Joke. First off the date is for 2002. Secondly, May 25th is on a Tuesday, not a saturday.
