Does everyone remember the first baseball game you went to? I'm pretty sure most of us went with our dad.
Here is my problem, I'm banging a broad that has a 3 year old boy and she want me to go with him to a game next Thurs.
I brought up how this is kind of a dad thing to do, she said his dad won't take him because the dad hates sports. Should I be uncomfartable about this?

As someone else who has dated a single mom, I'd say do it. A very high probability that it will be a very positive and lasting memory that you and he (whether you and the broad keep banging is a moot point) can cherish.
Not to mention it's just a f'n baseball game.

Single moms with kid dates are actually a lot of fun. You can talk to the kid if you run out of things to say. And the moms are more oriented towards this being an outing rather than a romance-thing. They're just a lot more casual.
Unless you get one of those hell dates where the kid is supposed to be the gatekeeper and acts like a brat while the mom studiously monitors your reactions. Those suck. Bad.
But think positive. I've been on more fun mom dates than hell mom dates by a lot.

single mom with kid dates are really fun because the single mom feels like she owes you something afterwards.

If he is only 3 I doubt he will remember it. I have memories going to games prior I think, but I was 5 when I went to game 5 of the 1975 World Series and don't remember a pitch. It was with my Mom and Dad, and maybe my baby sister. Point being if I can't remember that with my family, I find it hard that a 3 year old will remember it with some dude laying wood to my mom.

I really don't remember any particular game growing up, but maybe that's because my dad made sure we left in like the sixth inning to beat traffic.

After tonights game with the kid, I realized the Reds should institute a rule that you have to be a tleast 10 years old to attend a game. I'm pounding beers now because I am so exhausted from chasing that kid around. I felt horrible for the dude in front of me

Although it would never happen, I would love this for 1 or 2 games a year.

my 'best' game was september 17, 1983, which was Johnny Bench Night. he was my baseball hero growing up, and so it was fantastic to be part of his retirement celebration. and, i got to see his final home run, #390.
i dunno if they still have the straight-A program, but i saw tons and tons of games that way when i was a kid. i hope they still have it, 'cause it's a great way to introduce a new generation of fans to the game.

If I work in baseball, I will at the very least have a section for 18 and over. Smoking and everything is fair game.

Well, since you're "Bangin' The Broad" it doesn't sound like you're in it for the long haul.
I would suggest limited "special moments" with the kid if you don't plan on being around. That's just my two cents.
Even though I'm not a big sports fan, I remember my first ball game with my Dad. I was around 5 years old (1975 or so) and we went to see the Reds play the Pirates. I remember yelling Charge!!!! I remember how cool the field looked when we walked into the stadium. I remember the peanuts and most of all, I remember hangin' out with my pops.
