from the looks of the playlist page, they've been silent for about thirty minutes.....the Vintage channel is silent too.

It isn't just you. I've sent off an email to Bryan Jay, like he requested the last time something like this happened.

Is anyone else having buffer overrun issues every few minutes? I'm using the aacPlus stream on cable. I sent an email to Bryan Jay already.

Yeah, I was having the same deal happen in itunes. It was driving me crazy-go-nuts there when a couple tunes cut out.

There are some issues with our streaming media host today... not sure what the deal is but they're aware of it.

We're on it. Hit the Windows Media streams for the time being as they are fine. Problem is isolated to the MP3 and aacPlus streams.

The winamp stream seems to be working, but no music is coming forth. The song it is trying to play is Elbow - forgot myself, which according to the playlists was at 1:04 AM. The playlists have been empty since that time. Did the server crash?

I feel so naked and alone at the office without WOXY.

We understand. It's worth dealing with the inevitable network related pitfalls to have net access to woxy.com 24/7! Thank you. :D

AAC stream is unplayable, mp3 unlistenable. Seems like the servers are not broadcasting correctly. Sending Bryan an email.

FYI the woxy stream provider fixed a couple of issues and all my problems went away. Sounds great, no more skipping.

That's good news Mark.

Behind the work firewall, my connection used to drop 3 or 4 times per day. Nothing major . . . I would just wait about 30 seconds and restart the stream.

However, in the last couple of weeks, my stream hasn't dropped once. (Knocks on WOXY wood panneling)

At work I've had skipping and stuttering since the middle of last week with both high and low MP3 and AAC+ on the main & vintage channels through Winamp. I don't have the same problem if I listen to other MP3 and AAC+ streams on other internet stations through winamp. The windows media stream is working OK but I like the AAC+ sound quality much more.
The problem seems to be there in the morning and it goes away in the afternoon. At home everything is fine, although I don't listen at home in the morning. Anyone else having problems? :(

Yea, it's a routing problem that only effects some users (depends on your ISP). BryanJ is working with the provider to get it fixed. The windows media stream seems to be immune to the problem if you can use it.

I found that if the song title does not show when I connect to woxy it will skip and stutter. It works fine if the song title shows up, therefore I have to hit the winamp play button a few times until I get a good connection.
