i dabble in all sorts of different medium. as you've seen, i love to draw, and i also will probably be photographing more, now that i've got a sweet little digi cam.
as soon as i get to compressing it, i will post up the animation i did recently, and many of y'all know about mmy music creation.

and as far as what i do...i draw sometimes...i write a lot...lately i've been pretty into photography (http://www.xanga.com/photo_____g3nic) ...(although amateur is definately over stating it).

i've been kind of lacking in the graphics realm lately...busy and such. but i used to do a lot of layouts (http://www.xanga.com/dead0ntheway) for blogs and such (http://jadecafe.biz/) . html pirate/graphic extraordinaire...

when i was a kid my mom bought me a pottery kit

obvously, nothing i turned out was very good, but it was cool of my mom to get me all sorts of stuff to get my artistic mind flowing.

i also played around with sculpey... i like that stuff, its fun

For graduation my sister gave me a Fimo kit, potholder maker kit, pipe cleaners, Perler beads, stain glass unicorn kit....

It rules.

my sister is a writer though. she writes non fiction, as well as poetry and columns for various places.

i think it would be cool to have a daily art thread, or a weekly art thread..or something like that (rules would have to be made up coz im horrible at makign rules)

you know... where people post up a piece of work everyday, something they've done real quick...speed paintings or sketches.

or if everyday is too quick a deadline... like..everymonday ppl post something they worked on

Art... My passion, my love, my burning desire! ...other then that nasty bout of the clap

Sadly, I need to either:
A. Get my scanner working
B. Get my digital camera working
C. do options A and B

or otherwise, none of you will get to see my work (drawing, some painting, and wood block prints) :(

Although, perhaps my favourite art to create is performance art. Sideshow in particular. The walking on broken glass, hammering nails into your head, fire breathing goodness :D

if you respect it and know what your doing, it's relatively safe. And to be perfectly honest, freaking out an audience by hammering a 3 /12 inch nail into your face is perhaps one of the greatest guilty pleasures in life :D

i'm working on a couple for films, one animated hopefully. i've been back and forth on them though. i've got some short stories up on my crap angelfire site. lately school's crushed my artsy side.

my animation that i did for my final capstone happened without a script or any sound recording till 2 weeks before it was due

I'm an art person, too. I draw, paint, and currently I've begun hooking rugs. Not latch hook, but hand hooked with strips of wool through linen. I posted a photo on a craft-related months ago of my rug for raising funds for women in the Congo.

Working in fiber arts is a new experience for me and I love the colors, textures, and challenges from using wool to make pictures.

My history is drawing and watercolor works. I would one day like to write and illustrate a funky book for kids.
