bands list

Am I going crazy or was there a list of Bands somewhere on this site?
I just remember a long string of bands listed in the "The's" although The Shins were noticeably absent from the list.

Am I thinking of another site, or am I just being an idiot, and not seeing it here?

I'm thinking of a page like this I guess (http://www.pastemusic.com/artists.asp)

but not that exactly...the text was all on the left hand side, and you could click on the band name and it would give you a little bio???

You're right. I hadn't noticed it, but there used to be an "Artists" page and I think it's gone now.
