I do not know if posting a link for a petition violates the rules of engagement on our boards here; if so let the administrators speak and I shall have been warned by the ethics committee.
Until then, use this or don't.

Political action comittees are evil, unless you support what they do.

I won't use it, but I don't think it's inappropriate for CE/P.

ooooo hey - I'm reading Obedience to Authority by Stanley Milgram.
it's really GOOD. if you hadn't read it you should. According to this England really should not be tried for her part in abusing the Iraqi prisoners.
highly recommend it.
It's sitting atop my to-be-read pile. I actually bought it because it's in due's sig.
I'm sure I'll disagree with you on the England thing when I get it read. :D

probably.
but i won't debate you on it. I just post in CE/P to annoy people. I actually detest politics and I don't believe in our political system anyway. I don't even vote.
I'll give you a teaser however:
"The decision to shock the learner does not depend on the wishes of the learner or the benign or hostile impulses of the subject, but rather on the degree to which the subject is bound into the authority system."

I had a cough for six months once. I cracked a rib.
I was diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and walking pnemonia.
turns out it was really post nasal drip.
xray technicians can be real idiots.
is yours from sinus?
It's drip for sure. My wife had this thing and so did our kids. First you get a sore throat, then a bad sinus thing, then you feel like you have a hairball in the throat for a week. My wife still has a sore rib.

Does deleting a post reduce your post count? Could I theoretically make myself a junior member again just for shits and giggles?

yes it does. but be careful. people get really MAD for folks deleting posts. it interrupts the flow of the thread. Plus, if you start a thread you take everybody else's post counts down if you delete your post because it effectively delete's the thread.
Phreon yells at me bad if I delete a post. Other's have too. I'm learning to just keep my mouth shut especially down here.

y'all got to get on some sinus meds. you live in the sinus capital of the world! sinus meds for all! seriously, after six months of constant coughing a new doc I went to put me on Flonase and at the time Clariton D. I now take Zyrtec D. In two days, I ceased coughing.
Since that time, I've only had two or three sinus infections and none of them resulted in the cough. That was some 5-6 years ago.
