*Ian Brown "Solarized" (Koch) [domestic release of Ian's last solo album. Features Noel Gallagher]

*Crooked Fingers "Dignity and Shame" (Merge) [Eric Bachman from Archers Of Loaf returns with his 4th release as Crooked Fingers]

*Dead Meadow "Feathers" (Matador)

*Nicolai Dunger "This Cloud Is Learning" (Overcoat) [domestic release of Nicolai's collaboration with The Soundtrack Of Our Lives]

*Enon "Lost Marbles & Exploded Evidence" (Touch and Go) [cd/dvd collection of rare singles and videos]

*Laurent Garnier "The Cloud Making Machine "(Mute)

*General Patton VS The X-ecutioners s/t (Ipecac) [Mike Patton from Mr. Bungle & Faith No More teams up with a world-class turntable crew for an odd combo of crazy beats and military themed sound collages]

*Iron and Wine "Woman King" EP (Sub Pop) [more heartbreaking sounds from Sam Beam]

*Karate "In the Fishtank 12" EP (Touch and Go)

*Kings of Leon "Aha Shake Heartbreak" (RCA) [US release of the second album from the Followill family. Produced by Ethan Johns. Disc was hugely successful overseas]

*Ben Lee "Awake Is the New Sleep" (New West) [Aussie singer/songwriter returns with a broken heart and a much better album than his last. w/ guest appearances by Har Mar Superstar, Jason Faulkner and Jenny Lewis]

*Little Barrie s/t EP (Artemis) [domestic release of UK trio's debut 4-track EP]

*Maximo Park "Apply Some Pressure" EP (Warp) [debut release from UK 5-piece. They are the first guitar-based band signed to the electronic focused label]

*Neon "Hit Me Again" EP (V2) [Aussie rockers hit the US market. This EP features two tracks from their upcoming full album and 2 demos]

*The Peels s/t (Dim Mak) [from San Fran by way of Seattle, this 8-track release kicks some serious ass!]

*Phoenix "Live! Thirty Days Ago" (Astralwerks) [domestic release of live album that was previously only available as an import or on iTunes]

*Robbers on High Street "Tree City" (New Line) [excellent full-length debut for band who draw frequent comparisons to Spoon]

*Josh Rouse "Nashville" (Rykodisc) [singer/songwriter releases an ode to lost love and his former hometown]
