I found this puppy wandering around the Arlington Courts Housing Projects in Dayton. The kids waiting for the bus were throwing rocks at him and he was running in front of cars and stuff.

I need to find a home for him.

Sorry if this isn't politics based. I just usually post here. send me a pm if you'd like to take him in to a loving home, and we'll make arrangements.

You are an idiot. But I'm sure your mother already knows that.

He has no second head. Or if you removed it could I please have it too. but he is really cute. i especially like his fingernails.

Thanks for hijacking a thread that was supposed to help find a little puppy a home.

What an ass. You will die a slow and painful death.

Fine. Damn. Forget about any future poopsicle weeone alliances. I think you and your pseudo are gross and that cute little puppy will be much happier in someone else's home.

*ahem*

And you're not a senior member bytheway.

Uh, yeah whatever. Back on track. Kudos to you Mr. Poopsicle for taking the little dog in, and f*ck any little shit-heads that would throw rocks at it. They should be stoned themselves. Somebody adopt the little puppy. :(

He quoted what I wrote. He's unfortunately a little touchier than I previously surmised. I deleted it to undo the "hijacking".

You sure that someone isn't you? I've already got a German Shepherd and a Pit Bull on my hands.

People are throwing rocks at the beebee ?

I've murdered and stuffed people for less.

I really did miss that thing about kids throwing rocks. I was wondering where those references were coming from.

Anybody have any idea what kind of dog that is? Looks to be on the muscular side. What are those dogs that they use to fight? Drawing a blank.

I think it's a dingo. Pitbulls fight. It's sad.

Maybe you're thinking of a pit bull. Yes, that dog does look like it could be a pit bull mix. But don't write him off because of that. A friend of mine has a wonderful pit bull mix who was very friendly, even with children.

Just curious. We wouldn't be able to adopt it anyway.

I've e-mailed the pic to a few friends, one of which is a hopeless dog-adopting addict (don't worry, their life revolves around the dogs, and they keep a clean place). I'll pm you if anybody bites. (da-dum psshhhh!)

Isn't he at least part Boxer? And yes, I think that someone should stone the kids who were throwing rocks at him.

He looks like a Boxer/Pit Bull mix. Boxers are very sweet dogs. Pit bulls have a bad rep, but any dog will turn out mean and aggressive if you raise it to be so. He looks like a sweet little guy. I'd seriously consider it if we didn't have three dogs already. The next member of our family is going to be human.

Good luck finding him a home. I hope the little shits who were throwing rocks at him fail fifth grade and get pantsed in the locker room.

My pit bull is totally docile and a big sweetie. He's great around kids, and everyone.

It's all how you raise them. Any dog can be mean if it is treated mean.

Don't you remember Petey from our gang? A pit bull, in a kid's show:

I want the puppy. But I can't have him. I already have one and I'm not allowed to get another one until she gets trained well enough to be a good role model.

Have you called the humane society to see if you can foster him while they find him a good home?

Two dogs are MUCH, MUCH easier than one dog. I had the Shepherd by himself, and he would get seperation anxiety, so I had to cage him when I left. I had a neighbor who couldn't keep her dog, so I took him in. Soon all of the Shepherd's problems went away because he had a buddy - Capone (pictured)

Capone is adorable. I would love a second dog...but I can't.

And I am also in MN, so that would be too far for the little guy to go.

I'd take the puppy, but if my hippopotamus didn't eat him, then he would only make the kangaroo and the orangutang jealous

You have a HIPPO! That's awesome. Where do you keep him? I have penguins in my bathtub!

I hope you can find a home for the little guy. I wish I would take him but living on a 3rd story with rickety steps kinda of kills that idea. Plus I really can't afford him.

if you cannot find someone take him to a no kill shelter. I would also pm Big Dog Daddy (found in the member list) and see if he knows someone who would want him. BDD specializes in nurturing big breed dogs back to health and placing them in homes.

I second that. Two dogs are more than twice the fun but less than twice the work. Then they think they're a pack. It's cute. (Three is a pain in the neck, but I wouldn't give away any of my babies for a million bucks.)

you should definitely get in touch w/ Big Dog Daddy...didn't he recently post that his giant baby had passed away?

my old roommate has a pit/boxer mix and that dog is a giant cupcake sweetie pie. i agree--it's all in how you train/treat them.

Wow, man, that's terrible. Kids suck.

We already have a 2 year old boxer, and I'm not sure if we're ready to expand our family yet... sure is cute, though.

I know a guy who mainly traps cats, either for neutering+release, or adoption. The organization he's in also works with dogs, so maybe PM me, and I can get you in touch with him... Good Luck!

Just bumbin the thread to give the little guy a chance. I would take him, but no pets in my current place and I go away a lot. Not really fair to the dog if I am not going to be here. Good luck.

Too cute. I'd take him in a sec if I could have a dog. But dogs are banned here.
I do find it somewhat amusing that both this dog (he looks like a "Willis") and Capone have the same look on their face... :D
