They haven't even named their new album yet, but Oasis have planned on crossing the pond for a one-off show at New York City's famed Madison Square Garden. The Gallagher brothers had previously announced a stadium tour of the UK that begins on June 29th in Glasgow.
The NYC date on June 22nd may well be acting as a warm-up for those massive venues the band will be playing across the UK. The opening band for the Madison Square Garden gig is Jet. Tickets will go on sale on February 12th.
The US street date for the album's release is not yet set, but it will likely be the same week as the European release. That hits stores on May 16th.
