Bjork has decided to release a charity compilation featuring remixes and cover versions of her hit single "Army Of Me". It's hard to believe that it's been a decade since "Post" hit stores around the world, but this particular track has been the subject or so many unauthorized fan remixes and covers that the singer thought it was time to collect the best versions and raise money for a good cause at the same time. Bjork will decide on the cream of the crop from all submissions and compile them onto a 2-cd set. All proceeds from the album will be donated to UNICEF.
The deadline to submit an MP3 (encoded to 128kbs) is JANUARY 17th E-mail your track to:
bjorkremixes@gmail.com
You must include your name (or band's name) and all contact details. The double disc set will be released at the end of February and the tracklist will be comprised of the newly collected versions as well as some of the older mixes that inspired the idea.
Full details are up at bjork.com (http://www.bjork.com).
